ECOM VTEX-2000H is a video and data downlink designed for live transmission of aerial pictures of ground surveillance from helicopters or fixed wing aircraft. A video and data transmitter is mounted in the aircraft and attached to aircraft cameras, the video from the aircraft is transmitted to base receiving station, usually the headquarters or mission control location. Systems are designed to meet the demands of varying applications. Normally the aircraft video can be viewed at the base station from a distance of 8~10 kilometers using simple antenna or over 80 kilometers using more elaborate high gain tracking antennas. |
