ECOM TRAMS system equipment consists of a Transmitter, a receiver (or multiple receivers). TRAMS V1 version receiver is designated to detonate a single circuit, while TRAMS V5 version can detonate up to five individual circuits. The charge can is connected to the receiver with 10 meters short firing cable. Longer cables can be used using an external detonation battery. One transmitter may be used to fire several receivers simultaneously if identical codes are set on the receiver. For security, a split code system is used to load both the transmitter and receiver with radio, frequency and firing code. Part of the code is programmed in the unit and part is entered by the operator. Separate operational and practice keys are used for fail safe operation.
