ECOM Position-IT family offers vehicle and asset locating and tracking systems for diverse applications. It is a reliable AVL system to locate and track the position of vehicles, truckload assets, aircraft, ships, boats and railway rolling stock from a base location(s). A locator module is installed in each vehicle to be tracked, this position is displayed at a base location overlaid on a map running the display module software; either in real time as it is transmitted by the mobile or retrospectively when downloaded to a base location. Most tracking systems in the world rely on the availability of digital maps of the area. Position-IT can operate even in areas that do not have digital maps – users own paper maps can be put into the system for use. | POSITION-IT LOGGER/TRIP RECORDER: Designed for applications that do not want live reporting. It locator module records vehicle position and other operational parameters of the vehicle, as frequently as once per second, and stores this info within the unit. Movement record for up to 30 days or more can be stored, depending on the frequency of storage and the size of the memory including routes traveled, time, speed, rash driving, engine starts and stops, fuel tank openings etc. The information is downloaded into the base PC when the vehicle comes to a depot. The system is ideal for Fleet Efficiency & Management applications. |

| Position-It Satellite: Suitable for users whose vehicle and asset management requirements extend beyond predefined areas covered by radio or GSM networks; it uses the Thuraya satellite to report position from any location from over most of Asia, Africa and Europe extending. Movement record for up to 30 days or more can be stored, depending on the frequency of storage and the size of the memory including routes traveled, time, speed, rash driving, engine starts and stops, fuel tank openings etc. The system is ideal for international trucking, shipping and trans-continental flying. |

| POSITION-IT GSM: As the name indicates uses the GSM cellular network for communication between the vehicle and the base location. Position reporting is periodic or when ever interrogated by the base station. The system is practically a locating system, as every report uses the GSM network, in an emergency it can be set to report continuously. the system also offers movement record for up to 30 days or more can be stored, depending on the frequency of storage and the size of the memory including routes traveled, time, speed, rash driving, engine starts and stops, fuel tank openings etc. The system provides a wide urban coverage due to the fast expanding GSM networks worldwide. |

| Position-IT Direct tracker: Reports vehicular position to the base station using a VHF/UHF radio link. This is suitable for law enforcement and fleet operators who have their own radio systems; it can provide continuous vehicle tracking in real time, though the coverage is limited to the area of VHF/UHF radio coverage. The position is displayed at a base location overlaid on a map running the display module software; either in real time as it is transmitted by the mobile or retrospectively when downloaded to a base location. |
