ECOM ATPS Acquisition Tracking Practice System is a point defense missile training system, for providing field training to operators of Mistral Air Defense missile, similar to the original Matra product of the same name. Most air defense military men are well aware that point air defense missiles are not “really” point and shoot weapons. These missiles do require a specialized procedure of target acquisition, and a certain well rehearsed precisely timed prelaunch sequence before the missile can be actually launched. |
